About the project

Malmö Tillsammans translates to Malmö Together and is a project by Malmö Ideella, Malmö Stad, Sensus Studieförbund and NyföretagarCentrum Öresund. Together we work to strengthen democracy and to give the people of Malmö the opportunity to take part in the sustainable development of the city. We're forming a platform to collect ideas and dreams from the people of Malmö to be able to provide help and support so people can make their ideas and dreams into reality. We test different models and tools for this, such as participatory budgeting, local economic analysis, incubators for ideas and innovations and many more. The project is centered around Östervärn, Rosengård and Persborg in Malmö. The goal of the project is to contribute to a sustainable development of Malmö by reducing segregation, increasing employment and working for sustainable living.
